Admissions Questions
The training is designed for anyone who wants to build practical caregiving skills, including beginners and people already working in care. Specific entry requirements will be confirmed by Popote Dawa.
The curriculum covers caregiving fundamentals, ethics, communication, personal care, mobility, infection prevention, elderly and disability support, emergency response and practical caregiving skills.
Programme durations will be confirmed by Popote Dawa and shared with applicants during admissions.
Yes. Practical, hands-on learning is central to the programme alongside theory.
No. All caregiving training is conducted physically at our Nairobi training centre so that every learner gets hands-on practice.
Learners who complete the training and assessments receive recognition of completion. Exact certification details will be displayed once confirmed by Popote Dawa.
Graduates can pursue roles such as home caregiver, elderly caregiver, personal care assistant, disability support worker and companion caregiver. We also help connect our students with jobs at the Popote Dawa Care Team.
